Royal Caribbean Introduces New Cruise Destination in Freeport

Holistica Destinations, Royal Caribbean’s new joint venture, announced a US$300 million investment in Freeport, Grand Bahama that is due to redevelop the Freeport cruise terminal to bring a new world-class destination with a convention center, hotel, water adventure park, and more.
The project will span a couple of locations including the expansion and enhancement of the port terminal, to be called Harbour Village, and Lucaya Property, which will be located at Grand Lucayan resort.
The first phase of Lucaya Property is a world-class beachfront destination with a one-of-a-kind 526-room hotel, shopping village, wellness and spa center, water-based family entertainment featuring a water and adventure theme park, a 40,000ft2 convention center, adventure activities like zip lines and off-roading, bars and restaurants, entertainment and nightlife.
